In the figure, j ‖ k and m∠1 = 63°. What is m∠6? i got 63 °

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BloomLocke367 did i get it right c:

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

where's the figure? XD

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

no.... why'd you get 63?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D: my sister told me it was, UGH.

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

angle 6 is equivelent to angle 2... so if you can find the measure of angle 2, you'd get angle 6...

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

do you know how to do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um, no i dont think so

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

well angle 1 and angle 2 add up to equal 180 degrees because they make a straight line... so subtract 63 from 180 to find the missing angle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is 63 cause its a Alternate Interior angle, rIght?

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

no... it's not....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

117?

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

yep! XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my sister told me that was wrong D:

you're welcome! XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with 2 more pleaseee c:

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

I can try :)
