Which statement about the treatment of Japanese Americans during World War II is correct? A. The secretary of war decided that Japanese Americans posed no threat to national security. B. President Roosevelt refused to allow Japanese Americans to serve in the U.S. military during the war. C. U.S. courts convicted dozens of Japanese Americans of spying for Japan during the war. D. The U.S. government denied Japanese Americans their basic constitutional rights by sending them to internment camps.
Oh! I would have to say D. I remember learning that Americans didn't trust the Japanese and sent all of them to camps.
It could be B or D possibly even C but definitely not A... this is a hard one.
But D would cover most of it and would be your best bet answer.
Even if you had a little Japanese in you, you were still sent to the camps no matter if you were born in America or not. After the bombing We couldn't trust the Japanese, but also to learn some were spy's.
