HELP!?!! FAN!!! MEDAL!!! HELP According to a national survey 16% of U.S. adults use the internet to make telephone calls. In random survey of 100 adults what is the probability that at most 20 of them use the internet to make telephone calls.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Sup??? do you know??

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if we knew something about the deviation of the survey, maybe we could address it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

otherwise it feels like an poisoned distribution maybe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would i do 100/.16 625/20 31 people use the internet to make telephone calls Am i right?

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

Has the cumulative dstribution function been covered in class? If so, then the answer can be calculated for F(20, 100, 0.16) in which k=20, n=100 and p=0.16.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

@zarkon, any ideas?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

npq and binomial stuff is ringing in my head
