Three copies of a triangle were rotated and positioned as shown. Which statement is always true about the angles in the figure? A. Angle a and angle b form a right angle. B. Angle a, angle b, and angle c form a straight angle. C. Angle a, angle b, and angle c form an acute angle. D. Angle a and angle c form a right angle. http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1560500_1561000/1560886/1/9802ac7ff988edb935d91b3cca776050aab31677/MS_IMC-1401112-109063.jpg I think A?
@iGreen
Well which one makes the least sense here? Think about what the angles mean, what is a right angle? Straight angle? Acute angle?
Lets eliminate them one by one, so can angle a and angle b form a right triangle?
straight angle = 180* acute angle = 89*-1* right angle = 90*

its D right 45+45=90
@Astrophysics
Focus on angle a, b, c what does it tell us?
there all 45* and if you do 45*+45*= 90* so A=45 and C=45 so A+C= a right angle so then it makes it D right @Astrophysics
