What happened when developers built affordable, mass-produced houses in places such as Levittown? (Points : 3) The suburbs grew as young families moved away from cities. Schools hired teachers whose salaries were paid by the developers. The cost of automobiles and gasoline went up. The federal government offered tax incentives to anyone who moved to the suburbs.
@dantehensley
the suburbs grew because the rich, middle class, and poor class had their own areas, rural was more for the country folk, the urban area was more city places and places where there was more tenement bulding and stuff, and then the suburbs were growing with the invention of the cars and stuff like that and the oil boom, so dads could go work in the city while the kids and mom could go to a higher class school and live in nicer looking neighborhoods. that is where the rich and middle class families lived
