WILL GIVE MEDAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 122, 134, 144, 122, 106, 161, 155, 179, 155, 166 median

OpenStudy (rainbow_dashie):

What is the median?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (rainbow_dashie):

No, you tell me

OpenStudy (thefurball):

To find the median, you must first list them in numerical order (least to greatest). Then you find which number is in the middle. Which number would that be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you might want to rearrange the numbers first

OpenStudy (thefurball):

oops, didn't see your reply dashie! My bad.

OpenStudy (rainbow_dashie):

No, no your fine that wasnt one :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk i know in order its 106,122,122,134,144,144,155,155,161,166,179

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but its an even number

OpenStudy (thefurball):

The way I do it is this: count how many numbers there are. Then, decide that number by two. That's how many numbers you have to count in to find which one is in the middle. If there is an odd number of numbers, (like in this case, there are 11) half of 11 is 5.5, s you need to find halfway between numbers 5 and 6. Which number would that be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops this is the real one 106,122,122,134,144,144,155,161,166,179
