What was the ultimate impact of U.S. participation in World War I on Germany and its allies? American forces ended the stalemate on the western front leading to Germany's defeat. Germany became more determined than ever, causing an increase in the death rate. U.S. participation caused a rift between Britain and France that extended the war. Germany's allies abandoned it once the United States committed to war.

B
have a look here... http://www.history.com/topics/world-war-i/treaty-of-versailles
I don't believe that is correct.
C?

Yes
but am thinking about D...
I don't think D is correct in this case. Germany's allies stayed allies throughout the war and only abandoned that nation when the Treaty of Versallies was pacted.
It's C
There's no viewpoint that Germany was abandoned during the war...
"The treaty, negotiated between January and June 1919 in Paris, was written by the Allies with almost no participation by the Germans. The negotiations revealed a split between the French, who wanted to dismember Germany to make it impossible for it to renew war with France, and the British and Americans, who did not want to create pretexts for a new war. The eventual treaty included fifteen parts and 440 articles." @EclipsedStar
IM in the middle o.O
"The negotiations revealed a split between the French, who wanted to dismember Germany to make it impossible for it to renew war with France" @paki that's talking about the negotiations between those nations, not Germany's \(allies\)....
