(a^2n - a^n - 6) / (a^n + 8) The 2n is in exponent form.
What do we have to do/
Divide? Lol
I've been stuck on this question for awhile. I can't figure it out
Same here. Lol.
We can factorize the numerator though. But that won't help.
Lol. The website I use is Mathway.com. But that won't even give me the answer so Idk what do!
Skip the question. Simple. ;3
I can't! Lol

I'm not sure what you're supposed to do with this. The numerator factors nicely, but after I don't see anything obvious as far as factoring.
I just have to divide.
@mathteacher1729
This is all i got; because you can't divide or cancel anything. Did you typed the question right?
Of course I typed it right.
oh okay sorry.. i was just asking.. but i'm guessing that's it.
You only simplified it... Idk what to do for this question. I can't get the answer anywhere! Lol thank you for your help, though:)
No problem; but that's all you can do you can't cancel or take anything out. There's no multiple choice either right?
Nope :/
Wait! i think i have another way to :o does it say any instructions?
This is all that it says: Divide the following polynomial, then place the answer in the proper location on the grid. (a^2n - a^n - 6) / (a^n + 8)
I'm guessing it has a remainder though? o.o try doing that division and see what you get :o
What about this one? Divide the following polynomial, then place the answer in the proper location on the grid. Write your answer in order of descending powers of x. (x^5 + y^5) / (x + y)
Oh that's easy! give me a second.
Do you understand how i got it?
I can't even read it..lol
You want me to go step by step and explain it to you?
Do you know the Pascal's triangle?
Nope
okay well the Pascals Triangle is this 1 121 1331 14641 you will always start and end with 1. at first you only start with one and then at the second line you start with 1 2 and end with 1 at the 3rd line you going to start with 1 3 3 1 . why? well because you will always starts with 1 and then to get the other number just add the tops ones from the 2nd line 1+2= 3 which is the first 3 in the third line then for the second 3 in that line is 2+1+3 from the second line and then you end with 1? do you understand that O.o?
Not at all..lol
Well you read fast.. all you gotta do is the descending order one up one down and plug those numbers in.
It just doesn't make any sense to me.
