Which of the following best explains why the population in some regions north of the Huang River stayed constant over this time period? (4 points) Only a few new groups migrated into or out of the region so this allowed the population to stay constant. Tang and Song farmers produced rich soil quality, which resulted in a population boom in some regions. The number of invaders who settled in those regions about equaled the number of Song who fled. The gains in population from an increased food supply about equaled the losses from constant warfare.
May I ask, what was the time period? @Shadow_of_Krusenstern
it is not indicated but it is in secton of times of china bettween 1000-1200

would you say that this was in the Zhou Dynasty?
this was in Tang with Song dynasty
i think it is A or C
Hmm. I would agree with your choices, although it's kind of hard to tell. From what I've read when I learned about ancient civilizations, it was the devastating floods of the river that made people live. However, it was the incredibly fertile soil that the river produced which made the people want to stay.
thx
Sooo I guess you don't need help anymore? :P
i'm not sure which choice is correct from 2 of them?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1034_Yellow_River_flood ^ This is a helpful link :) It's an event that occurred during the song dynasty
so it would be A?
Nope C is correct out of A or C :P
I'd say that C explains why some areas remained constant, while others didn't.
