OpenStudy (liv1234):

Can someone please help me out with these two questions?

OpenStudy (liv1234):

OpenStudy (igreen):

What do you think about the first one?

OpenStudy (liv1234):

I thought it was 2, but I'm not sure.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Where are they?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. 1 2. D

OpenStudy (liv1234):

Going down the middle and then going across the middle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no because the bottom half is bigger than the top to it can not be split horizontally

OpenStudy (liv1234):

Ohhh okay, do you mind helping me out with another question(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is it

OpenStudy (liv1234):

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yeah, you can't have a line of symmetry from left to right..because it won't be the same..but top to bottom is correct..so it only has 1.

OpenStudy (igreen):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rotational and reflectional

OpenStudy (igreen):

@your_mom017 Please do not give answers, it's against OpenStudy's Code-of-Conduct. We are here to guide the asker to the answer, so we need his/her participation. Please read the \(\bf\color{blue}{\underline{{\href{http:///openstudy.com/code-of-conduct}{Code-of-Conduct}}}}\) to learn more.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Plus, that is incorrect.

OpenStudy (liv1234):

I was going to say D, but I wasn't sure.

OpenStudy (igreen):

No, D is incorrect..it does have symmetry.

OpenStudy (liv1234):

So we can cross out C and D. Which means we are left with A and B right?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what people answer questions all the time though

OpenStudy (liv1234):

i know, but then you don't learn how to do the type of question yourself, so i prefer being explained a question rather than just have it given to me.

OpenStudy (igreen):

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

OpenStudy (liv1234):

I'm confused as on how to tell what type of symmetry it is, that's what I need help on.

OpenStudy (liv1234):

And I won't ever learn how to do them if I'm just given an answer with no explanation.

OpenStudy (liv1234):

@iGreen would the answer be A? Because, there's a reflection of the image on the bottom and top?

OpenStudy (igreen):

No..

OpenStudy (igreen):

There is no reflection symmetry.
