OpenStudy (anonymous):

no clue

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well this is easy...ok umm...what is the degree for the right angle??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if the drawing is not to scale, then relying on visual assumptions is not a good idea.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

but your thought is most likely on track

OpenStudy (anonymous):

who?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

visually, x is greater then 90 ... which i believe is where you are heading with this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats where i was heading too but thanks anyways @amistre64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you know its d

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the mathical option is: recall the sum of the angles of a triangle recall that a line is 180degrees, so 2 angles on a line add up to 180 and then the math works out to your visual assumptions so the picture is fairly accurate for your approach.

@Adam96

OpenStudy (amistre64):

x+a+24 = 180 and a + 122 = 180 solve for a to solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well first of all which answers can you eliminate right away

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm trying to help someone this is their question thanks everyone
