Why did civil rights become even more important to African Americans following World War II? (Points : 3) African Americans saw sophisticated, affluent African American families on TV and wanted that life for themselves. Jim Crow laws still prevented African Americans from full participation in American life. Separate but equal schools worked well in some places, but not in others. African Americans were receiving equal pay for their work so they also wanted equality in political life and other areas.

No, I'm just mad people like you just throw out answer and don't explain how or why they're correct. Plus, you're breaking OpenStudy rules: http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct http://openstudy.com/terms-and-conditions
Because the African Americans were treated "Well" in the military world, they came home accustomed to being treated equally. however, when they got home, US laws applied still and (Jim crow laws) forbade them to do and have the same rights as they were accustomed to overseas. Happy?
