Larry moved from Chicago to Atlanta. For the first two years he lived there he had no allergies in the spring. Then, in the third year, he had very bad allergic reactions to spring pollens. What is the most likely explanation for this delayed effect?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A) He spent more time outside during his third spring in Atlanta. B) The effects of the immunity he had from Chicago gradually wore off. C) His body had built up enough antibodies to cause the allergy symptoms. D) The pollen levels in Atlanta were growing steadily during the three-year period.

@amistre64 @iambatman Can you help me with this please ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know its not B and i dont think antibodies can be built up in your body .

OpenStudy (xtheman):

I believe the answer is D because this is normal with climate changes.

@arilove1d @xtheman http://www.everydayhealth.com/allergy/when-allergies-develop-suddenly.aspx It is just the body making antibodies and eventually going a bit overboard.
