The scale factor is referring to the ratio I've been talking about for your last couple questions. Take the same side from both similar shapes, and find what you have to multiply one side by to get the other. That is your scale factor.

can you help me with it tho

OpenStudy (matt101):

I've helped you with a couple already so try this one yourself. You're going from a shape that has a 16 cm side to a 12 cm side. What is 12/16 equal to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

.75

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did i get it right
