Please check one question? Thanks! :) According to Carnot, what does the efficiency of a heat engine depend on? the input temperature only the exhaust temperature only the ratio of input temperature to exhaust temperature****My answer**** the ratio of exhaust temperature to input temperature

@radar can you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@katielong do you know this?

OpenStudy (katielong):

I'm not too certain, I'd say you're possibly right; It is definitely not one of the top two. Usually efficiency is (output/input) x 100; if so, the bottom one is more likely? but this is just a guess :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks! do you to help me with another question to check?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@katielong

OpenStudy (katielong):

yeah?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well my asnwer was correct thank you for that! but next question is: How does a refrigerator reflect the second law of thermodynamics? (Points : 1) The thermodynamic changes in a refrigerator are not spontaneous, and the entropy of the system and surroundings decreases. The thermodynamic changes in a refrigerator are not spontaneous, and the entropy of the system and surroundings increases. *my answer* The thermodynamic changes in a refrigerator are spontaneous, and the entropy of the system and surroundings decreases. The thermodynamic changes in a refrigerator are spontaneous, and the entropy of the system and surroundings increases.

@katielong

OpenStudy (katielong):

I'm not too sure haha, I'm not studying thermodynamics :l

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks though! do you know entropy equation questions though?

OpenStudy (katielong):

nopeeee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you so much! im good then!

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

Your answer on entropy is correct
