Set the equation equal to zero: (test q deleted)
Who do you have then if I can ask? For this question, it'll help to divide out a GCF, can you think of a number you can divide each of those three by?
^That is not correct, please find a greatest common factor
im not really good at math xD so i try to help sorry lol
I've found the GCF, I've factored it and I found the x-intercept. I just need that one problem
What does the equation look like after you take out the GCF?
Basically, I'm saying you need to look at lesson 8.03 page 3 (particularly the video on that page) to see how to factor this and then set each factor equal to zero.
Alright? Lol
Factor by grouping? What unit and lesson
Also, you need to avoid using this site because it is against FLVS code of conduct to be here. Most kids don't know that, but because it is so easy to cheat here looking up other student answers you need to really just use your teacher for help.
Because I know this is a test question and you really shouldn't be asking help on a test and that's just the fine line between what you can and can't do on the internet.
I'm not looking for the answer, there's nothing against getting help and working through the problem. Do you know what unit and lesson?
Like I said, it is against FLVS policy, and you can double check with your teacher to be sure, but asking help on a test in general is not allowed. Think about if you were in a regular school and you had this question. You wouldn't stand up and walk to a neighbor asking for help, you have to do your best with the little guidance I gave you.
If you want to learn a concept you see on a test, find a problem similar to the one on the test. Then use that example one here to learn the concept. However, it is far better to learn all the concepts in advance and not right at the time you take the test. In life, you do preparation before you do the work. If you try to do it right in the middle of the work you have to stop, adjust, etc. and it slows you down. So by applying the idea of preparation first, you learn not just about math but about life.
