Did you find ur answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Do u know what is the square root?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

hint: the area A of a square, is given by the subsequent formula: \[A = {L^2}\] where L is its side

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

well, a square root is basically a number that when multiplied by itself will get to that product. e.g. \[\sqrt{49}\] the square root would be 7 because 7*7=49

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

let's use @Michele_Laino 's formula and substitute it: \[A = L^2\] \[46=L^2\] find the value of L by finding the square root of 46. \[\sqrt{46}\]

How do you do that?
