Are there any other ways to say "Two complex roots"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (turingtest):

two roots in the complex plane? two roots with imaginary parts? I'm just throwing ideas out there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. I should probably explain more. What does it mean if your answer would be "Two complex roots"? Like two Irrational? Ore two rational?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or* lol

OpenStudy (turingtest):

whether or not a number is rational has no bearing on it being complex for example rational and complex\[3+2i\]irrational and complex\[\sqrt3+2i\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So could I just say double root?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

no, a double root is a repeating root, like\[x^2-2x+1=0\implies x=\{1,1\}\]
