OpenStudy (anonymous):

an image is real when real light beams create the image. if you have to trace back with dotted lines, the image formed is not real. as for inverted or upright, it should be fairly obvious.

hint:

OpenStudy (kkbrookly):

So that's what I should draw? @Michele_Laino

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look at the arrows, if it's upside down then it's inverted for lenses, it's real if image is on the side without the object

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

You should draw a line parallel to the axis of the lens, and a line passing at the center of the lens. Where do those line intersect each other is the other end of the image. @kkbrookly

OpenStudy (kkbrookly):

@funscience @Michele_Laino

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

the image is real, since it can be collected on a screen

OpenStudy (kkbrookly):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

Thank you!
