If he spent $60 buying $4 tickets, he must have bought $60 ÷ $4 = 15 tickets. t full price, he would have spent $37.50 more. That means he would have spent $60 + $37.50 = $97.50 to buy the 15 tickets. That means the price per ticket would have been $97.50 ÷ 15 = $6.50.

Ok so an easy way to start this problem is 4x=60 because each ticket at a discounted price costs $4. So that means you bought 15 tickets so if he bought tickets at a regular price he would have spent $37.50 more so your total price would come to $97.50. So now you divide 97.50 by 15 because you bought 15 tickets. So 97.50/15= 6.50 per ticket
