Choose the sentence below that is correctly punctuated. A. Morgan said, “I’ve watched all the episodes of Alias on the DVD box set except Reckoning.” B. Morgan said “I’ve watched all the episodes of “Alias” on the DVD box set except “Reckoning”.” C. Morgan said, “I’ve watched all the episodes of Alias on the DVD box set except ‘Reckoning.’” D. Morgan said, “I’ve watched all the episodes of Alias on the DVD box set except Reckoning.”

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

I got this one! I got this one!...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm, C?

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

I don't think so. If Alias doesn't need to be quoted, then I don't think Reckoning needs to be.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, C?

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

No no. Reckoning has quotations, but it doesn't need it.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

I have a question. What's the difference between A and D?

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

Maybe one of them has italics? o-O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm confused.

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

(A and D look the same)

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Yeah. Italics don't show up when you copy a sentence containing them to OS. (they should really fix that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A has italics.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in my expert opinion (not an actual expert) it should be d because all the quotations are in the right places and the periods and commas match up

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Where does A have italics? Like which words?
