define a turning point
A turning point is a type of stationary point
is it the vertex?
looks like you've got help :) \(\bf\huge\rlap{\color{limegreen}\bigstar\color{#872AF0}{ Welcome~to}~\bbox[3pt, #45B5EC, border:solid white 1pt]{\color{white}{\rlap{Open}{\color{black}{\hspace-3pt Open}}}}{\bbox[3pt, #ACCE88, border:solid white 1pt]{\color{white}{\rlap{Study}{\color{black}{\hspace-3pt Study}}}}}\color{yellow}\bigstar}{\hspace -3pt\color{yellow}\bigstar \color{black}{Welcome~to~{{Open}}{Study}}~~~~\:~\color{limegreen}\bigstar}\) Made by ~ nobrainiachere ~
if you are moving graphs about, do you recall what the graph for |x| looks like?
whats with all the fancy welcomes i didnt know this was the superbowl
nah, just wanting os to seem friendly ;)
im not sure
well, if you are taking an algebra course, and are at the point in your lesson where you are manipulating primary function; the graph of |x| is one of those that you really should memorize.
it looks like V
the turning point i assume is the tip of the V, and youll need to know where that is normally located on the graph.
ok let me try out and see what i get
k, remembering some basic graph shapes will serve you well. then moving them tends to be simple
