Circumference is \(\sf \pi d\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what do you think?

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

^ you beat me to it

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

the formula of circumference of circle is 2pir here diameter is 8cm so divide it by 2 then u will get 4cm 4cm is your radius now formula is 2pi r put r=4 in the formula 2(pi)( 4) 8picm

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

@CREEPYMLPMASTER did u get my point ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would it be 8pi?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, you got it.

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\sf C = \pi d\) The diameter in this case is 8, so we have: \(\sf C = \pi (8)\) or \(\sf C = 8\pi\)
