OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay let me give you a test, where would you put a hyphen between the word sensitivity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sensit-ivity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, ok so when putting a hyphen in you need to see how one word can be separated into two separate pieces. I like to use syllable as a guide. For example, sensitivity has 5 syllables, sen-si-ti-vi-ty so the hyphen would go between si and ti because that's the middle. If you had an even number like 2 syllables for example apple, ap-ple then the hyphen would go between ap and ple. Do you get it now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the way you put the hyphen would end up like sen-sit-tiv-I-ty and that would not work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I hope u understand now. Medal? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank You :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanx
