OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Hint cos^2x+sin^2x=1 1/sinx=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

csc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so thats the answer? how?

cos^2x+sin^2x=1 1/sinx=csc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

i don't think you learned trig identities yet, look them up. cos^2x+sin^2x is one of them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did, but I'm confused on how to use them to answer questions like this

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

well if you know that cos^2x+sin^2x=1.....

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

then the question simplifies to 1/sinx xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh! wow, loll I'm slow
