OpenStudy (jskhupmang):

for number 1 its radical 2

OpenStudy (jskhupmang):

for number #2 I think each equation has 2 solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you please show me how you got the first one? thank you !

OpenStudy (jskhupmang):

plug in radical 2 for y and solve for x then once you find x value then check your work by multiplying the x value and radical 2 which is the y value

OpenStudy (jskhupmang):

if you get 4 then the answer is right

OpenStudy (misty1212):

in the second one \(y^2=x+4\) so you have \[x^2+x+4=4\] and you can solve that i believe there are two solutions

thank you so much!!
