@amistre64

OpenStudy (amistre64):

give me your best attempt

OpenStudy (amistre64):

multiplication and addition are really elementary school operations that i believe you would be rather proficient at by now. so give it a shot and lets see how you do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh now I remember how to do it. I'm a little rusty at this stuff since I'm just reviewing before my exam :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Got it. It's <-87, 33>

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if it helps, vectors can be written as the sum of 2 vectors: the x and y vectors: x = <1,0> and y=<0,1> therefore: <-5,1> can be written as the sum of x and y as: -5x+1y

OpenStudy (amistre64):

then adding vectors is simply adding like parts, and scaling them is just ... distribution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. Thanks. That acutally makes everything more simple

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually*

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good luck :)
