@zepdrix

OpenStudy (misty1212):

mmmm pie

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (misty1212):

you don't need calculus for trig function questions like this the max of cosine is 1, when x = 0 and the min is -1 when x = \(\pi\)

OpenStudy (misty1212):

those are the critical points, \(0\) and \(\pi\) no use it taking a derivative or any such silliness

OpenStudy (anonymous):

stop stealing my question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really thank you so much @misty1212

all i have is one more questopn

OpenStudy (misty1212):

btw if you really want to make your silly math teacher happy, the derivative of \(f(x)=4\cos(x)\) is \[f'(x)=-4\sin(x)\] which is zero at \(0\) and \(\pi\)
