An otherwise healthy 40-year-old man was in a car accident that caused damage to his right kidney, and the organ had to be removed. What long-term effect can the removal of his kidney have on his blood pressure? His blood pressure could increase because of increased blood volume controlled by one remaining kidney. His blood pressure could decrease because of decreased blood volume controlled by one remaining kidney. His blood pressure could decrease because of increased blood volume controlled by one remaining kidney. His blood pressure could increase because of decreased blood volume controlled by one remaining kidney.

since all of the blood would go to one kidney instead of both, it would increase the pressure, wouldn't it?
