The Flip-Flop-Alot Company makes and sells flip-flops. They have one linear function that represents the cost of producing flip-flops and another linear function that models how much income they get from those flip-flops. Describe the key features that would determine if these linear functions ever intersected. (10 points)

As for the flip-flops, I would say that the formula to use will be \[y=mx\], where x is the cost for each and the m for the number of flip-flops sold and hence the y giving the total amount. Logically, the amount of selling would be higher than the cost of production, as they will require to get profit. The only point where the lines would meet would be at point where x=0. |dw:1429285293651:dw|
