OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the easy way to do the question is the sum of the areas of 2 triangles both with a base of 30 and height of 2 the formula method is \[a = \frac{1}{2} \times x \times y\] where x and y are the lengths of the diagonals... hope it helps

OpenStudy (ayyookyndall):

So I can say: A = 1/2 * x * y x = 4 y = 30 A = (4 x 30) 120 / 2 = 60 A = 60 feet^2

OpenStudy (ayyookyndall):

@campbell_st

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

that's correct

OpenStudy (ayyookyndall):

I was wondering if you can help me with something else. I already posted the question. And I already have my answer. But I have a question about my answer. Do you think you can check it out? @campbell_st

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

OpenStudy (ayyookyndall):
