which was not a reason why children often worked in factories? A. Many families needed the wages their children earned. B.There were no public schools in England. C. Children were a cheap way to get labor. D. Many people were comfortable with child labor.

Im not 100% sure, but I can confidently eliminate A and C, and B is more like than D. Sooo B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100% sure that it is C since there were public schools in England and factory owners would pay children cheaply and they were more efficient and less smart then grown men mjaking it cheaper for the factory owner.
