hint: using the properties of logarithms, I rewrite the left side of your equation, as below: \[{\log _{11}}\left[ {4\left( {y + 8} \right)} \right] = {\log _{11}}60\] namely, the property that I have used is: \[{\log _{11}}a + {\log _{11}}b = {\log _{11}}\left( {a \times b} \right)\]
