Just like any other. Review the material. See where in your notes you have marked things the prof said were important.

It all comes down to memory tools. Which tool works best depends on the person. Make very short stories that lead you from one thing to the next. Make sentence where each word's first letter is one of say the need's first letters. This get you the first letter of each thing you need to remember, which is sometimes all you require to get them out. Make a cartoon, anything better than stick figures is usually enough. Have the parts relate to something you need to remember. Like the whole evolution of man thing, each step can tell a story and the visual is reasier to remember than the words. Whichever you chise, self test to make sure it works until it does. I have a post on Memory in the Academic Advice section.
