How do I graph this ?

OpenStudy (badmood):

graph what

OpenStudy (df001):

OpenStudy (df001):

I need help graphing the phase shift, I don't know how to get the other points on the x axis to get to pi

OpenStudy (badmood):

i cant realy read curiz

OpenStudy (df001):

\[y=(x+\frac{ \pi }{4 }) for 0 \le x \le \pi\]

OpenStudy (df001):

Phase shift: -pi/4 Amp = 1 Freq = 1 Period = 2pi I don't know how to graph the phase shift and how to get the other points on the x axis.

OpenStudy (badmood):

Best Answer: amp 1/2 (Always anything in front of the sin, cos, tan. etc.) Per 2pi (Always 2pi divided by anything in front of the X. This problem an 'invisible' one is in front so 2pi/1= 2pi) Shift is where you set whatever is in the parenthesis equal to zero and solve for X. For this problem X+pi=0, X=-pi (negative pi)

OpenStudy (df001):

on a graph, if phase shift is where I begin my graph, what do i multiple it by or add it by to get to pi ?

OpenStudy (badmood):

not sure on that
