Which is the BEST way to write the two clauses as one complete sentence? I need to take a nap. The class is not over. a I need to take a nap because the class is not over. b I need to take a nap since the class is not over. c I need to take a nap whenever the class is not over. d I need to take a nap although the class is not over. @ThatOneLibrarian

I say A, because it makes the most sense.

I probably shouldn't keep butting in like this, but I also think that D would make sense. I don't think needing to take a nap and class not being over is a cause and effect relationship, like the word "because" suggests. "Although" might make more sense, which is another way of saying "even though". It's like saying, I wanna take a nap, even though class isn't over yet. That's probably why I think D is the best choice.

Do you know what a clause is?
