Which sentence does not contain any errors in punctuation or capitalization? A. The curious child asked "Why?" B. The curious child asked "why?" C. The curious child asked, "Why"? D. The curious child asked, "Why?"

@KyanTheDoodle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D would be the correct answer in this case. A common is necessary while asking a question in quotation, and the punctuation mark should be on the inside of that punctuation. ;P

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Remember that quotations marks always go after sentence marks, and a comma must go before a quote.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea that's what I thought lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Excuse me, a "comma" not common.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whaaaat! when were u a 93 @KyanTheDoodle

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Unless the quote itself isn't a question, then the sentence mark goes after.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):
