Except the mechanism. Remember he couldn't prove how the continents moved until the sea floor was mapped (many years later). Fossils are on two continents, Mountain chains continue on North America and (I think) Europe (Look on a map for this one, if confused),Weather patterns (hint: ICE) on different continents where the weather is opposite now, and the continents look like puzzle pieces (look at map). If you are using a Earth Science book, please look into the chapter for continental drift and find the evidence. If you are not using the Earth Science book use many sites (on the internet) to find supporting evidence because your response should include it.
