Although Walt Whitman and Emily wingspaninson employed different styles, some of the broad themes of their works were the same: nature, death, immortality, and religion. Do you think the common themes in these works from masters of American literature still have the same importance in modern literature? Or are such themes now too well-worn to build original works that are appealing to a modern audience? If so, are there other themes that have replaced them? Explain your opinion with examples from materials you’ve read in school or on your own.
Mmm, posting an essay question might not be your best shot, because most people either won't give it the trouble, or will be annoyed that they want you to write it out for them. I would help more, but I can't take much more time out. I would recommend asking one question at a time for a better response.
