@Ashsmashum1290

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@itsthatguy

OpenStudy (ashsmashum1290):

what do you think the answer is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are forgetting to convert though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why?

OpenStudy (ashsmashum1290):

yeah i think its D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8,000 is the reg answer and with the equasion you take away the three 0's

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are suppose to figure out the volume of the box first and then convert the cm^3 to liters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it says it in the question that they want the answer in liters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's 8000 centimeters, not liters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 cm3= 0.001 L

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly now convert that to liters which is dividing it by 1000 so it's 8000/1000 = 8L

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*convert that cm^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

proof

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's the same thing as @itsthatguy said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so do you get why the answer is a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do what @nopen says, divide 8000/1000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

800/1000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, 8000/1000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know forgot 0\can yall help with more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um I think I should explain why it's 8000 and not 800 okay so we got ourselves a box right? alright so they have given us the length, the width and the height, so what do we do? well...we know the formula for a cube right? Volume of cube = length x width x height so V= cm x cm x cm in other words it's V = 20 x 20 x 20 = 8000 cm^3 but this cannot be our final answer because they want our answer to be in liters and not in cm^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that's why we need to convert our answer from cm^3 to liters and that why @itsthatguy said that we need to divide 8000 by 1000 which is? 8 liters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hope you this made it clear for you? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright, it's the same exact method try it yourself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@vdrana it's against the rules of OS to give direct answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I made an yall 100 thanks yall I cant fan all of you can yall fan each other
