@vera_ewing

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Well I see the reoccurance of the vowel I throughout the poem. Can you only pick one sentence though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not a poem. its a song. lyrics from a song. you can pick any sentence

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Oh. Well you know what I mean. I'd pick...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Live every day, give it all that I have

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KyanTheDoodle

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

I'd pick the first one for alliteration. And now I'm sINGING along to amazING grace

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how is that alliteration. doesn't the first letter have to be the same?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KyanTheDoodle

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

No. I believe alliteration is just the repetition of a sound, no matter where it is on the sentence.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok i already used alliteration for another sentence thou. but do any of those other sentences have like assonance, consonance, or onamatopoeia?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KyanTheDoodle

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

The last one kinda has assonance. The words trust and someone have similar sounds in terms of their vowels.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh i see what you mean. thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

btw have you heard this song @KyanTheDoodle

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Nah
