Ok, so another short answer question! What was the promise that fascism made to the people that appealed to Italians?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

recapturing the glory of the Roman Empire while also achieving dominance in the new realm of technologies were appealing ideas; strength in numbers, collective identity rather than individualism, was a way to achieve this. Italy since the Empire tended to have been split up into small uninified states with competing interests, and often at the mercy of foreign powers. In other cases, only a handful of dominant cities had significant influence (usually in trade). So unquestionable unity was a way to overcome this. Also, WWI had weakened or destroyed the traditional empires, and the opportunity for Italy's ascendancy to a position of power seemed obvious. source: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071031103800AAdIe89

"Moreover, for campaign financing, in the 1920–21 period, the National Fascist Party also courted the industrialists and (historically feudal) landowners, by appealing to their fears of left-wing socialist and Bolshevik labor politics and urban and rural strikes; the Fascists promised a good business climate of cost-effective labor, wage, and political stability" There's your answer, the specific promises they made. Hope this helps!
