I would believe it's B. They're not asking which answer is true of the poem, but rather which one is a characteristic of the neoclassical period. The neoclassical period was a time of perfection and proper...ness (I don't know what the noun form of proper is). Anyways, another characteristic of poetry written in the neoclassical period is heroism, specifically in the form of couplets.
