How did the Nazi propaganda, laws stripping Jews of citizenship, and forced wearing of yellow stars contribute to the "dehumanization" of Jews? In what way did they make Jews seem "less than human" and more like "the other" or "not like me?" How might stereotypes help in dehumanizing people?

The short answer is that by removing their rights in society and making them stand out with a symbol, they were segregated from the rest of the German population. They were made "different" and there are many examples of people reacting harshly, negatively, or simply coldly, to things that are different from what is considered the "norm", even today. By doing this to the Jews in conjunction with the barrage of propaganda casting them in an even more negative light, they were slowly dehumanized during the 1930's in Germany under the Nazi regime. They were just ordinary people, but because the Nazis wanted everyone to think of them as being very different in a bad light, were eventually turned into something they weren't -- and many in the Reich were too afraid to say otherwise.
