The lengths of randomly selected taxicab rides, in minutes, from a certain airport, are shown. 14 21 33 18 5 27 20 20 15 16 35 9 4 19 9 17 19 Nadine constructed a histogram of the data, using 2–4 as her first interval class. What type of distribution did her histogram display? approximately bell shaped approximately uniform skewed left skewed right approximately symmetric, but neither bell shaped nor uniform

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i assume they want you to make the historgraph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk tbh

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, itll be more useful if you have at least some sort of idea ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right, so you gonna help or naw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill help u make it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i cant help if you have no basic understanding of this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to make a histogram on a calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thxs israa88, and no graze, but i can look up how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can tell you. It's really simple. First hit STAT then Edit, then put your data into list one. Then hit 2nd Y=, or Statplot in blue, Click the first one, switch it to on. Then under type, move to the one that looks like a histogram. Make sure the xlist is set to the same list you put your data under, which is most likely list 1. then hit Zoom 9, and it will make one

here i found an online one for u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thxs

OpenStudy (amistre64):

ive made one, but cant even tell what the answer would be :/

OpenStudy (amistre64):

{4, 5, 9, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 19, 20, 20, 21, 27, 33, 35} 2 * 5 * 8 * * 11 14 * * * 17 * * * * 20 * * * 23 26 * 29 32 * 35 * the stars give the basic outline of it .....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u get it so far ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yah sorta

OpenStudy (amistre64):

can you define what the options would look like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe its skrewed left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

skrewed left= right tail is longer.....the right is more than the left so, left skrewed??

OpenStudy (anonymous):
