A set of equations is given below: Equation C: y = 3x + 7 Equation D: y = 3x + 2 How many solutions are there to the given set of equations? One solution Two solutions Infinitely many solutions No solution

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

what do you think? hint: the two lines have the same slope of 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Infinity

No problem

if you have anymore questions just post them

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the answer isn't infinity

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if you graph the two lines using something like desmos https://www.desmos.com/calculator or a graphing calculator, you'll find that the two lines are parallel and will never intersect. So there are no solutions. You need an intersection point to have a solution.
