He's known to come , if he hadn't been, he wouldn't have to complain Find the mistake on this sentence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It makes absolutely no sense what so ever. I don't even know where to start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it should be this: He is known to come. If he weren't, he wouldn't have to complain. The original is both a run on sentence and has the wrong use of "hadn't been" @TrojanPoem

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Are you native ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Native to?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Native English speaker

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I am why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is a space in between the word come and the comma there shouldn't be first of all, should it look like this? He’s known to come , If he hadn’t been he wouldn’t have to complain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

without a space between the comma sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think that was a typing accident when he put it in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oki

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

It was a typing accident

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thought so

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

But still don't know what is the mistake in this sentence... And to me It's senseless. One of my friends suggests replacing "he" with "it"
