They didnt give me the answer. I picked my answer they told me if I was right or wrong if you go re read it all.

Its okay.
You may want to rethink some of your answers (italian bistro--is that the name of the restaurant or is it just a type of restaurant). Your other question about the grandfather, be sure you understand the reason that grandfather is capitalized. Grandfather would be capitalized because "Grandfather" is his name. If you said my grandfather, it would not be capitalized. A simple answer may help you in the short term, but you have to understand the concept for it to help you in the long run. :)
Thank you so much! @mommatotwo

@mommatotwo
You are incorrect. You would not capitalize brother unless he is a clergy member (ie. Brother Mark). His name is not brother, he is your brother.
Yeah, I agree with mommatwo. But then, what is the answer?
nobody knows lol
Let's look at the sentence again: Unfortunately, my brother couldn't come because he had to drive grandfather to the airport. IF it said "Unfortunately, my brother couldn't come because he had to drive my grandfather to the airport..." neither brother nor grandfather would be capitalized. However, since it says simply grandfather, then Grandfather would be capitalized because, in this instance, Grandfather is a name (proper noun).
Well can we conclude that the answer is B. You just said that you can't capitalize brother. Ik your saying it in a better way to understand, but this is so stupid. And obviously his name is not brother. "In other words, capitalize words such as "Mother," "Father," "Grandmother," "Grandfather," "Son," "Daughter," and "Sis" when they are used in place of the person's name. Do not capitalize them when they follow possessive pronouns such as her, his, my, our, your." - dictionary.reference.com/help/faq/language/g71.html
Sure @ BriannaBear, but you gave the incorrect answer originally (as you answered "C"). Regardless, it's not about the answer to THIS question. He may get THIS question right. In order to get similar questions right in the future, it's about understanding the concept. That's what learning is, correct? In that respect, your latest response includes a terrific explanation of this concept.
Ya except it was from a dictionary, so your calling the dictionary wrong? How idiotic. I had meant B not C, ppl make mistakes geez. Can u plz just get over it? I get you were trying to explain it.
