I think A... Just need an explanation. A scatter plot is made to model the number of calories in different portions of fish sticks. The data used for the scatter plot are shown in the table below: Number of portions 5 3 8 6 1 4 Number of calories 250 150 400 300 50 200
What does the slope of the model represent? The number of calories in each portion of fish sticks The number of fish sticks in each portion The original number of portions of fish sticks The price of each portion of fish sticks

@amistre64
what defines your horizontal (x axis) and vertical (y axis) ??
the # of calories and portions? @amistre64
.... which is which?
y is portions? and x is calories? @amistre64
if your asking me, i dont know ... did they provide you a scatter plot? or do we deduce it from the information?
deduce it from the info.
great, wordy stuff lol A scatter plot is made to model: the number of calories in different portions of fish sticks. cal = slope(portion) + (whatever) this is what it reads like to me, correctness not assumed tho
if we ignore that whatever part slope = cal/portion
so A would be correct? @amistre64
The number of calories per each portion. like i said, correctness is not assumed. but i would agree with A as my best educated guess.
Bad worded question thanks for the help <3 @amistre64
yep, good luck :)
