@jim_thompson5910 @rational

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the information is right there in front of you all you have to do is use it ...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what part of the information are you leaning towards using?

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

the weight -0.156000 and the constant 13.348

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im leaning towards them too, everything else seems reserved for other things ... 13.348 is a slope, the other should be the y intercept

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

ok thanks, the equation i was thinking it might be is: 13.35x-.156 (Weight)

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

oops theres no x just 13.35-.156(weight)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i dont know what decimation you need.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

there has to be an x, at least in teh overall equations

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

but i have answer choices and none of them have an x:

OpenStudy (amistre64):

from the example, the constant is the constant term, the y intercept the weight is the slope.

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

huh? what do you mean? the answer choices are for the first picture i posted

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the constant .... is the constant term .... how does this not make sense?

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

oh ok the example helps a lot, now i got E.

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

13.35-.156 (weight)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

E makes the most sense from the example, i was looking at it wrong to start with but i knew which ones we need to use ... placement was i bit off lol

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

lol yea. the one thing that is different in the example vs. the problem and I'm not sure if this matters but in the example it says height where it says weight in the equation, its probably irrelevant though
